Chestnut Man-ju
These flower confectioneries are made from glutinous rice, sugar, bean paste, and gelatin. Sweetness is its trait, and you can appreciate its taste and exquisite shape with a cup of refreshing tea.
Flour 180g, Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon, Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon, Eggs 2, Sugar 70g, Water 1 tablespoon, white bean paste 400g, Canned chestnuts 6, Egg yolk
1. Sift the flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
2. Mix egg, water, and sugar.
3. Mix number 1 with number 2 and leave in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Brew the canned chestnuts well.
4. Mix the bean paste with the chestnuts.
5. Divide the dough by sixteen. Fill each dough with the paste.
6. Brush the egg yolk on top and bake in the oven for 15 minutes at 180¡É.
