| Platycodon glandiflorum that are over 20 years old are called Jangseang Doraji. Mr. Lee, Sung-ho (69 years old, jinju, Kyungsangnam-do, Korea) has developed platycodon glandiflorum that can live for several decades. This Jangseang Doraji contains special properties that normal platycodon does not. It is a useful and marvelous medical root for humans. The old Platycodon is now being protected under the Korea Patent law (Patent No. 045791), and perennial Platycodon is grown near the uncontaminated Mt. Ji-ri of Kyungsangnam-do, Korea which has four distinctive seasons. |
