The Oak-mushroom is an excellent mushroom that fights cancer, improves function of liver, removes bad blood cells, and stimulates the appetite. It also contains substances that prevent arteriosclerosis. Oak-mushrooms go well with pork dishes.

One of the remedies using oak-mushrooms to cure stomach problems is chopping the mushroom into small pieces and boiling it down for intake. It is also effective to boil it down with rice wine for relieving headaches and for detoxifying the body after consuming poisonous mushrooms.
Right before the onset of a cold, when your body gets the chills and has a fever, take 8 pieces of oak-mushrooms (15g), add 3 cups of water, and boil down on low heat until it is reduced in half.

Take 3 times a day. Also, boil down oak-mushrooms with salt and drink to relieve sore throats. The effects can be felt within a day.

Many aged people experience sudden palpitating of the heart and breathing problems. These symptoms are familiar with some younger people also. In this case, put 2 oak-mushrooms chopped in small pieces into a cup and add boiling water. Discard the water and add new boiling water again into the cup. Leave for 1~2 minutes. Add salt and drink before breakfast for one month to see the effects.
